​As a guest choreographer with the Ballett Schwerin in Summer 2023, I created a contemporary balletic suite "OverWhelm" set to Fanny Mendelssohn's one and only string quartet, a rare gem of chamber music that reflects the depth and subtlety of her compositional voice. OverWhelm is presented as both a sensation of vulnerability and a powerful mode of connection—an act of openness in the face of life’s chaos and uncertainty. OverWhelm explores human connection through the lens of tenderness, amplified by the unique voice of a female composer often overlooked in the classical canon.
